What are bungalows

Bungalows are a special type of accommodation which, due to its design, construction and isolation, is specially adapted to be placed in both warmer and colder areas. We can also describe them as natural pearls because they combine top comfort and natural elements, as well as a rustic atmosphere with modern details. These accommodation units usually have only one floor which is divided into several larger rooms such as a couple of bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom, and they can usually accommodate a larger number of people in shared rooms. Bungalows are a great choice if you want to have a totally different experience during your vacation than you’d get from camping in a tent or going to a hotel.

Difference between bungalows and cottages

Even though many consider them to be one and the same because of their very similar appearance, decor and materials used in their production, there is one very important difference between bungalows and cottages. As we already mentioned, due to their construction, bungalows are adapted to both warmer and colder areas, while cottages can be primarily found only in colder regions. They are often spread across two floors and come with exceptionally good insulation that’s great at retaining heat – this also affects their interior design, which is more open, so that the entire space can be warmed up much easier. Bungalows, on the other hand, are a bit more enclosed and divided into several rooms, but they have beautiful, spacious and well-decorated terraces, so guests can relax and enjoy the sun.

Difference between bungalows and mobile homes

Since guests of Camping Village Šimuni can choose between camping pitches, bungalows and mobile homes, a majority of inquiries are about the differences between bungalows and mobile homes. Although at first they may look similar, there are a lot of differences between these two types of accommodation – the most obvious ones are related to the material from which they were constructed and the way they were designed. Mobile homes are more focused on providing you with the level of comfort that you might receive in a hotel, while bungalows are focused on making you more connected with the nature that surrounds you, but at the same time provide the level of comfort you are accustomed to. While bungalows in Šimuni come in only two sizes, they are exceptionally well furnished and come with home plots where you can rest and relax. On the other hand, there are nine types of mobile homes and they range from very basic to quite luxurious. Most mobile homes in Camping Village Šimuni come with several bedrooms, indoor kitchens, separate bathrooms and toilets. Considering that there are nine types of mobile homes, they are ideal if you want to fully tailor your vacation to your wishes. Bungalows, on the other hand, are always a good choice because they offer you a combination of comfort and a natural atmosphere that you won’t get in any other type of accommodation.

Types of bungalows

If you decide to spend your vacation in a bungalow, in Camping Village Šimuni you can choose between two types – BASIC and PREMIUM.

BASIC bungalows are smaller and have enough space for four people. They feature a fully equipped bedroom, living room, kitchen and a bathroom, and they all come with spacious terraces with garden furniture. PREMIUM bungalows are much larger so they can accommodate up to five people, and they are even better when it comes to internal furnishing.
